Internet Geography is a website for students and
teachers of geography.The website covers lots of different topics both at a KS3 and KS4 level, as well as a great resource for revising.





Geography at the Movies is a great site for teachers. The site contains lots of useful videos that can be used as starters and plenaries.





Games4geog is a site offers a collection of interactive geography games on various KS3 and KS4 topics.






Geographyalltheway is a usefull site with various resources for KS3 and KS4.

KS3 Games - make learning fun and easy!

Below are a list of various games you can play to reinforce lots of different topics you have been taught


Mapzone is a fun and interactive way to learn map skills, ideal for those studying at KS3. Mapzone is brought to you by the Ordnance Survey, a usefull website where you can find various maps for all over the UK.

Electrocity is a game that lets you control a town in New Zealand. What you do with that town is up to you. You can build stuff, destroy stuff, and even leave stuff alone. The game is a great way of reinforcing learning about the environment and energy.

This site offers a variety of games about climate change from crossowrds, hangman to wordsearches. The site also contains information about climate change and global warming.


The Dumptown game is a great way to learn about how to reduce, reuse and recycle. A great game to reinforce any environmental unit.



Juicy Geography hosts a wide range of games for various topics in geography for KS3 and KS4.



Games4geog offers a wide range of games for various units both at KS3 and KS$. The games are great tools for starters or plenaries


Revision sites for GCSE



BBC GCSE bitesize contains lots of information about various different topics you will cover in your GCSE. Try the quizzes or the games to test your knowledge.


The Geography Site contains lots of information on various topics, breaking them down into different stages. The Geography Site provides a great way to revise topics you are struggling with while also highlighting all the key words for that topic.

Usefull tools for students and teachers

Wordle is a usefull tool for generating “word clouds” from text that you provide. The clouds give greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text. This is a usefull tool for both teachers and students.

Wallwisher is a new way to communicate. Add your ideas, comment, weblinks, videos to any topic. Wallwisher is a great way of sharing ideas for a project or responses to a topic.
